The Dynamics are one of the 36 groups selected to have a track from their newest CD chosen to be put into this year's installment of Voices Only 2008, a compilation of the best the collegiate acappella world has to offer this year! We are proud to announce that "Runaway" off our latest CD "Love Games" , has been selected on Voices Only 2008! We've accomplished another major milestone this year by making the first a cappella compilation album of any group at University of Massachusetts! The Dynamics have closed out their 2007-2008 season, its has been a tremendous one and is only getting better.. We have many gigs this summer so check them out and catch us at one. We also will be revamping our website soon so stay tuned!

The Dynamics are having their annual Spring CD Release Concert on Saturday April 26th! Join the Dynamics as they sing and celebrate the release of their CD "Love Games". Performing will be Umass' own Award winning Comedian Adam Szajgin and Uconn's Complete Different Note. This concert is not one to be missed. We will debuting many new songs and well also dazzle you with many new choreographic numbers. CD's will be on sale for our newest album "Love Games". CDs will be $10 for Umass students with student id and $15 everybody else. We have 6 seniors graduating so don't miss it! Admission is free and will be in Thompson 102 at 3:00pm. Be There!

First off, we would like to say come visit us this weekend in Albany , NY at the Egg at 7:00pm. We will be opening up for American Idol's Blake Lewis. To find out more check out our events page. February 4th , 2008The Dynamics have been invited to sing for the Obama Rally at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston at 8:00pm. This rally will feature Senator Barack Obama, Senator Ted Kennedy, Governor Deval Patrick and Senator John Kerry. We will be singing two songs and opening the festivities with the National Anthem. We are honored to be singing at this event. Clips will be posted as soon as we get them!

The Dynamics are currently in Orlando, Florida recording our next CD. We are very excited about this CD and are just amazed how well it is coming out in just the recording stages. We would also like to announce that one of our tracks on our first CD Crescendo "Love, Love, Love" has won an AcaTune award. The acaTunes Awards recognize the very best in collegiate a cappella recordings.

The Dynamics were honored to be personally invited to meet and sing for Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick this past friday. We have ended our 2007 singing season. We look forward to our 2008 season, with recording a new album, the international competition of collegiate a cappella, and the silver chord bowl. We wish everyone a great holiday! November 29th, 2007

The Dynamics would like to announce some great things that have been going on with us. First, we have made the International Competition of A cappella Quarterfinals again. We have also been invited to perform for the Massachusetts Governor Deval Patrick, which is a complete honor. We are also performing at the Historic Egg in Albany, NY at a festival this weekend, we invite everyone to come out and see us. All of the details for this event are on our events page. Last but not least our Annual Dinner & Show is coming up. Tickets are $10 and all of the proceeds go to help us create our new Album in January. With the Tickets, you get Dinner served by the Dynamics, a Comedian, the guest all -male group Trinity Accidentals and of course the Dynamics with all of their new songs! Our Show will be in Herter 231 on Campus.

First we would like to announce that our members page is updated with all of our amazing new members so please check them out. Next, we have our free Dynamics Annual A cappella Extravaganza concert coming up on Saturday October 27th at 8:00pm in Herter 227. We have door prizes, audience costume contests, audience participation games, skits, and of course great singing. The always hilarious Award winning Comedian Adam Szajgin will be performing and we are bringing you an all-star concert equipped with not one, not two, but 3 A CAPPELLA GROUPS performing on one special night. The Dynamics will showcase their talents along with the MIT Logarhythms, Colby College Megalomaniacs and WPI Simple Harmonic Motion. Don't Miss it!

From the initial 66 auditionees, 8 have been called back , so naturally the pool was very competitive. So many of you are such great singers and with such vibrant personalities! It is therefore all the more difficult to realize that we couldn't callback more of you, and to have to relay the following message: just because you did not get into callbacks this year DOES NOT MEAN that we were not impressed by your performance, or that you will not stand a chance in years to come. Our needs in any given season are always strongly influenced by the gaps in our current sections and other practical concerns. So we sincerely hope to see many of you again at our next auditions! Thanks to everyone who tried out!

Summer is soon coming to a close and the Dynamics are gearing up for another great year of singing and performing. We already have great gigs lined up, new songs in the works, and are preparing for our next CD to be recorded in January. Some great things have happened over the summer, Thomas King of the Recorded A cappella Review board has reviewed "Crescendo" and has called it " the breakout album of the year". We couldn't have been more happier that our CD has been responded to so well. Not only are CD's still available but you can now get "Crescendo" on iTunes. Lastly, we are proud to announce that we are about to hit over 2 million plays on Myspace. The response has been tremendous from our fans and we would like to give a big thanks for everyone's support. May 10th, 2007

As the Dynamics are wrapping up the school year we have two more concerts on Saturday May 5th, 2007 we will be doing a Save Darfur Concert Benefit Concert at 8:00pm in Bartlett 44. The concert is free and a third of all CD sales will goes towards the Darfur Campaign. Come out and support this great cause. A week from tomorrow Saturday May 12th, 2007 we will be having a our final concert of the semester our Acappellafest Spring Concert where we will have 2 amazing guest groups and award winning comedian Adam Szajgin in Thompson 102 at 8:00pm. We will be featuring two new songs. So the Dynamics have jumped on the bandwagon and opened a myspace music www.myspace.com/umassdynamics We have received such a tremendous response on our CD from the myspace community. Within a week we have received over 9,000 plays and have received over 800 friend requests. We are so excited the public has taken Crescendo in so well. Even Tristan Prettyman, an artist that we cover, has taken time to comment very positively on our work. I encourage all of our regular web site visitor to check our myspace out!So in some other great news, professional a cappella group "The House Jacks" www.housejacks.com have invited the Dynamics to open for them on their visit to the UMASS campus. This is a tremendous opportunity and the Dynamics are really excited to be opening up for such an amazing group. We encourage all of our fans to come out and see us and the House Jacks on Thursday April 12, 2007 at the Umass Campus Center Ballroom at 7:00pm. Don't miss it!

March 27st, 2007The CD is finally finished after two months of hard work, the Dynamics would like to thank Jack Ludden for all his tremendous work recording and mixing the CD as well as Randi Stanley for being a huge asset with her vast A cappella knowledge on the production side of the album. The album will be sent to all pre-orders on April 10th and to all regular customers starting on April 14th. We will be celebrating the release of our new CD "Crescendo" with a concert celebration. We will have award winning comedian, Adam Szajgin, and three guest groups joining the line-up: A Completely Different Note from the Universtiy of Connecticut, Route 9 from Amherst College, and Aural Fixation from Boston University. All Guests will be able to purchase our newly released CD afterwards for a discounted price of $10. Be the first to get your CD! Admission is $3 with student ID and $5 to the general public.
