New Members and the Dynamics will be whisked away to a Vermont Retreat House in the Beautiful Appalachian Mountains. Here not only will they be taught many of the songs that are in our repertoire but most importantly they will be able to get to know the Dynamics and spend quality time with them. What better way to learn music but in a gorgeous home up in the Mountains! |

Thursday June 5th, 2008- St. Paul's Music Festival 2007
Join the Dynamics for an exciting concert series at the beautiful Cathedral of St. Paul in "The Heart of the Commonwealth", Worcester, Massachusetts. 2008 is a special year. The program includes 13 concerts in 8 days, featuring internationally acclaimed artists, as well as many talented local musicians. The audience is invited to a reception after each performance for social gathering and refreshments. The Dynamics will be performing on Thursday June 7th at 7:00pm. Admission is $10 for the public and $5 for students.
Saturday May 10th, 2008- Cliffbar Soccerfest 2008
The Dynamics will be performing at the Cliff Bar Soccerfest at McGuirk Stadium!. There will be live music on site for everyone to enjoy, and concessions are available. There will also be inflatables, carnival games, a rock wall, and a dunk tank. Our performance time is TBD.
Friday May 9th, 2008- Festival of the Arts
Come and enjoy an afternoon outside on the Fine Arts Center Plaza. Be entertained by you peers as they showcase their talents on stage. Join in the fun with some of the interactive art stations and go home with your creations. The Dynamics will be singing at 2:45pm. Be There!

Celebration of the 145th anniversary of the founding of UMass Amherst for students, faculty, staff, alumni and friends, with music, dance, lunch, ceremonial birthday cake and the Umass Dynamics. The Dynamics will be performing for the Umass Community and Governor Deval Patrick at the Fine Arts Center at 11:30am. Be there!
Saturday April 26th, 2008 - Dynamics Spring CD Release Concert
Join the Dynamics as they sing and celebrate the release of their CD "Love Games". Performing will be Umass' own Award winning Comedian Adam Szajgin and Uconn's Complete Different Note. This concert is not one to be missed. We will debuting many new songs and well also dazzle you with many new choreographic numbers. CD's will be on sale for our newest album Love Games. CDs will be $10 for Umass students with student id and $15 everybody else. We have 6 seniors graduating so don't miss it! Admission is free and will be in Thompson 102 at 3:00pm. Be There!
Friday April 18th, 2008 - Acapalooza
This a great night to see all of what Umass' A cappella
Groups have to offer. All of UMass's acapella groups will be performing,
including Kolot, the Dynamics, Wicked Pitch, the Vocal Suspects and the
Doo Wop Shop. Also the UNH Notables, awesome all-female acapella from
the University of New Hampshire will be there. This event is free and
will be in the Bartlett 65 Auditorioum. The Concert starts at 7:00pm.

Saturday April 12th, 2008 - 12th Annual United Way of Franklin A Cappella Festival
Join the Dynamics and the Dartmouth Aires, the Baystate Franklin Medical Center's Clinical Notes, Wheaton College's Gentlemen Callers and Berklee College of Music's Pitch Slapped for this wonderful benefit concert. The concert will be held at Greenfield High School in Greenfield, MA and will start at 7:30pm.
Friday - Sunday April 4th - 6th , 2008 - A cappella Innovations Festival
Join the Dynamics as they perform in the A cappella Innovations Festival at the Famous Egg in Albany, New York this festival is created to promote innovation, evolution and unity in the A Cappella community and to foster an appreciation in the general public of what can be done with the human instrument.
Fork, Blake Lewis From American Idol, Groove Society
from Colorado will be bringing us there funk and jazz, Philip Hamilton
will be singing the blues and Denise Reis is back to amaze us with her
passionate songs and incredible trumpet.
Smallville’s Allison Mack returns along side many famous singers,
producers, actors and a cappella celebrities Ben Stevens, Maxine Sharavsky,
Kurt Walker, Joseph Bates and Dave Brown! Groups will be provided with
individual coaching from the many professionals to help them further
themselves. This weekend is quite an amazing weekend
The Dynamics will be opening for American Idol's Blake Lewis and Denise Reis in a sell-out crowd at the Egg on Friday Apri 4th at 7:00pm. Be there!
Saturday March 29th, 2008 - Smith Democrats Date Auction
The Smith Democrats will be donating money to the SOS charity. The charity
will be giving money to local veterans for their immediate and emergency
needs upon their arrival home.All money spent on the brothers goes directly
to Pi Kappa Phi's national philanthropy, Push America. Push America's
purpose is to raise awareness and give aid to those living with mental
and physical disabilities. Event will feature Smith College Smithereens
and the UMASS Dynamics. Special
Guest group will be opening the evening. This event starts at 8:00pm
in Weinstein Auditorium.
Saturday March 1st, 2008 - International Championship of Collegiate Acappella - Quarter Finals
The Dynamics have made the Quarter Finals of the International Championship of Collegiate Acappella. The Dynamics will be competing against the top groups in the Area. The show will be held in the Houghton Memorial Chapel on the Wellesley College campus at 8pm.

Monday, February 4th, 2008 - Barack Obama Super Tuesday Rally
The Dynamics have been invited to sing for the Obama Rally at the Seaport World Trade Center in Boston at 8:00pm. This rally will feature Senator Barack Obama, Senator Ted Kennedy, Governor Deval Patrick and Senator John Kerry. We will be singing two songs and opening the festivities with the National Anthem.
Sunday, February 3rd, 2008 - Silver Chord Bowl
Northampton Arts Council's annual "Four Sundays in February" series begins on Sunday, February 3rd, with the annual "Silver Chord Bowl:" the very best of collegiate a cappella. All 2,000 seats are filled in John M. Greene Hall year after year. This year with the Umass Dynamics, The Dartmouth Aires, the Tufts Beelzebubs, BU Terpsichore, Rutgers Deep Treble, the Amherst Zumbyes, and the Smithereens from Smith. Shows Starts a 2:00pm in Smith Colleges John M. Green Hall. The Dynamics have been inivited to sing for Massachusetts Govenor Deval Patrick and his Staff as well as State Legislators and their staff. We will be singing inside on the grand staircase on the second floor of the Massacusetts Statehouse from 12:00pm - 1:00pm.

This event is a benefit dinner designed to help those in need. Not only will this wonderful event have the Dynamics performing but will also have a DJ, a delicious buffet and chances to win prizes! Tickets are $25 and All of the proceeds of this wonderful event go towards the Marshfield Community Christmas & the RHCI for Children Eileen M. Ward Rehabilitation Center. Sunday November 11, 2007 -Local Vocal Chord Bowl
The second annual LOCAL VOCAL CHORD BOWL, a benefit a cappella concert, will be held at the ACADEMY OF MUSIC at 3 PM on SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 11th, 2007. The concert proceeds will be donated to two local community groups – CANCER CONNECTION, and in honor of Veterans' Day, MILITARY FAMILIES CONNECT, an organization of the Veterans Education Project. Performing in this year’s lineup will be a revival of THE GAY MEN’S CHORUS, THE UMASS DYNAMICS, THE AMHERST COLLEGE ZUMBYES, THE GREEN STREET BREW, THE WILLISTON – NORTHAMPTON SCHOOL’S WIDDIGERS AND CATERWAULERS, and THE AMHERST HIGH SCHOOL’S CHORALE. PETER BIGWOOD of the local singing group, THE DADZ, will MC the event. This is a private concert where we show that college and singing is not only fun and exciting, but a great tool to learn and grow. The Dynamics will talk about their own experiences with college, teach students daily Dynamics routines, and put on a great concert to finish the day.
Saturday October 27, 2007 - Dynamics Annual Halloween Extravaganza Concert
This Dynamics mid-semester concert is our annual free concert, where we have door prizes, audience costume contests, audience participation games, skits, and of course great singing. Everyone will be dressed up in crazy costumes. The always hilarious Award winning Comedian Adam Szajgin will be performing and we are bringing you an all-star concert equipped with not one, not two, but 3 A CAPPELLA GROUPS performing on one special night. The Dynamics will showcase their talents along with the MIT Logarhythms, Colby College Megalomaniacs and WPI Simple Harmonic Motion. Concert will start at 8:00pm in Herter 227. Wednesday September 5th, 2007 - RSO Activities Expo
Stop by the Library Lawn and check out the carnival games and snacks plus much more. The Activities Expo is an outdoor festival showcasing all kinds of Registered Student Organizations available to students so you can get involved right from the start! This event will run from 4:00-7:00pm. The Dynamics will have a table with members to answer any questions about the group and will be able to answer any questions you may have about auditions. We will be handing out free candy, playing our CD, and will be singing live every hour.
Tuesday September 4th, 2007 - Minuteman Mall Mania
Ever had the mall open late just for you? The Hampshire Mall will open exclusively for UMass Amherst students during Minuteman Mall Mania from 9:30pm to 12:30am! Not only can you get everything you need, but also take advantage of store discounts, giveaways and entertainment. The Dynamics will be performing at this event at 11:00pm on stage in the mall Food Court. This is a great opportunity for new freshman to get aquatinted with the Dynamics. Come check us out!
Saturday July 28th, 2007 - Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation Charity Concert
The Dynamics are coming to Suffern, New York and are teaming up with the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation for two great hours of musical happiness. Proceeds of this concert will go towards the Desmoid Tumor Research Foundation in hopes for finding out more about these tumors and how to cure them. When great music and a great cause come together, it's an event that's not to be missed! See the Dynamics perform at this benefit concert hosted by Mass pirg help raise funds and awareness for the cause in Darfur. Part of all CD sales will be going to this campaign. Concert is on the Umass campus in Bartlett 44 and will start at 8:00pm.
Saturday May 2nd, 2007 - Central Cause Benefit Concert
See the Dynamics perform at this benefit concert to support Amherst Survival Center--a great food and clothing pantry in town. Admission is $3. Please bring donations and non-perishable foods and clothes, anything that will help. This concert will be held in the Basement of Van Meter. Be there to support this wonderful cause.

See the Dynamics perform at RPI in this invitational, many groups all over the northeast will be performing. The event is in the McNeil Room in the Rensselaer Union and will start at 7:00pm. The McNeil Room is located at the intersection of Sage avenue and 15th st. in Troy, NY. Tickets are $5.

The Town of Hatfield has Invited the Dynamics to perform Christmas Carols with the Smith Academy Brass Band. We will be performing at 6pm at the Hatfield Luminarium. The Luminarium is a Hatfield Tradition that has been going on for over 25 years. This will be a great show with some great Holiday cheer

The Dynamics will be be performing in Boston's own Faneuil hall in front of Quincy Market. Our set will run from 11am to 1pm.
Saturday December 9th, 2006 - Dynamics Final Concert!
The Dynamics will be performing their final Umass concert of the year. You will be entertained like you never have been entertained before. We will be performing all of your old favorites as well as debuting three new songs. Which ones? You'll have to come and see. We will also be raffling off a Free Dynamics Performance Anywhere in the Northeast. The concert will start 8pm at Herter 231. Admission is $5.

The Dynamics hosted a dinner and show event. This event was professionally catered with delicious meals. All proceeds went to the production of our CD which we will be recording in January. Joining the Dynamics, was the Award winning group, "Voicemale" from Brandeis University, Minute Mic Winner, Comedian Adam Szajgin and University of Massachusetts - All female group, "Six Minutes".

The Dynamics will be singing with the Vassar Devils at their Spring Concert. Vassar college is located in Poughkeepsie, New York. We will be performing at Taylor Hall just inside the main gate. The concert starts at 8:00pm be sure to get there early to get good seats!
